Age Limit
- Maximum: 28 years as of 31/05/2025
- Relaxations:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (15 years for SC-PwBD, 13 years for OBC-PwBD)
- Widows, Divorced or Judicially Separated Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)
- No age limit for eligible CSIR employees
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 / XII or equivalent from a recognized board
- Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi
- Must be proficient in computer operations as per CSIR/DoPT norms
Selection Process
- Written Exam (2 Papers):
- Paper-I: Mental Ability Test (Qualifying only)
- Paper-II: General Awareness & English Language (Merit-based)
- Typing Proficiency Test (Qualifying)
- Final merit list based on Paper-II marks
Salary
- Pay Level-2: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (as per 7th CPC)
