Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025):
- 18–23 years
- Upper age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC – 3 yrs, Dept. candidates – up to 45 yrs (SC/ST), 40 yrs (Gen/OBC)
Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass from a recognized board
- Sports participation from 01/01/2023 to 06/06/2025 in recognized events
Physical Standards:
- Male: Height – 167 cm, Chest – 81-86 cm
- Female: Height – 153 cm
- Relaxations for hill area candidates and ST as per rules
- Weight: Proportionate to height/age
Sports Achievements (any of the following):
- Represented Country/State in National/International/Senior/Junior events
- Medal winner in All India Inter-University/National School Games
Selection Process
Stage 1:
- Trial Test (20 marks, min. 10 to qualify)
- Proficiency Test (40 marks, min. 20 to qualify)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Document Verification
Stage 2:
- Medical Examination (2x candidates of vacancies shortlisted)
- Final Merit: Based on Proficiency Test + Sports achievements
- Tie-breaking: Younger candidate preferred, then alphabetical order
